Glean Pakistan
GLEAN stands for Green and Clean. The main goal behind this project was to plant as much tree saplings as we can to fight the pollution and climate change in Pakistan. The project was met with support from many yet it was also considered as a joke by some. We were able to raise around 500 USD and planted almost more than 250 tree saplings around the communities of Malkhanwala, Dawood Nagar and Warispura.
The Project was a conducted from July 2018 until October 2018 . the project proved to be a large success as in 2021 the trees have grown to be young and are blossoming day by day. Although the trees were very less in amount yet we believe they will still somewhat have an effect on the local ecosystem. We plan to raise funds internationally and locally to plant about 3000 trees from 2022 to 2024.
